SYSTEMATICS OF THE STUDIES CONDUCTED FOR THE QUALITY SYSTEM AND ACCREDITATION OF OUR PROGRAM

We constantly improve and update our education and training according to the real situation in the world and in Turkey, in line with our Department's Educational Outcomes and Program Outcomes. Some studies carried out in this direction are briefly listed below:

1) At the end of each semester, students are given two surveys:

a) Instructor evaluation survey (Here, the instructor's situation regarding the course delivery is questioned)

b) Course survey (It is questioned whether or how much the students have received the outputs related to the purpose of the course. The data obtained from the survey is compared with the answers given to the questions asked in the exam)

2) At the end of each semester, a Course File is prepared by the relevant academic staff and delivered to the department's MÜDEK commission. Our department has a mechanism for reviewing Course Files. Accordingly, 1 academic staff called Internal Auditor is appointed to review the Course File prepared for each course. The Internal Auditor examines the file and prepares a report according to 12 questions prepared in the Internal Audit Checklist with Yes/No answers. If a deficiency is detected, the relevant academic staff is informed to correct the deficiency.

3) At the end of each semester, a survey consisting of 2 parts is given to students who participate in the Intern program.

In the first part, evaluation of our department's curriculum,

In the second part, the Program Outcomes are evaluated.

4) Employer Survey is conducted every term. Here, the Employer answers questions similar to Program Outputs, prepared to question the quality of the education received by the graduate and its relevance in the field.

5) A survey is conducted for our graduates every semester. In this survey, our graduate is asked to answer questions about whether the education he received meets the program outcomes.

6) Employee Satisfaction survey is conducted periodically.

7) Feedback received from stakeholders at every stage of the training and how well the outputs are met (survey data, exam data) are evaluated periodically and annually. It is prepared as a report by the MÜDEK Commission.

We are trying to improve the quality of our program by updating its education and training in line with the feedback we receive from these studies.
